So, the Ally and I dried out from last night's dump of rain. Still a little bummed that we didn't get to see the whole thing, but life rolls on

Soo sorry I didn't get in touch with you today. Just got crazy with Eleni and piles of books and no cell phone and it ended up taking longer than expected and I never got to a phone. I'm glad you guys had fun though and ohmy the textbook.
BUT OHMYGOSH THE TREE IS GONE. Funeral?
Bussing to Van is gooood. Traffic sucks. But, it takes forever.
It was really weird, actually. Ally and I felt like we were in the right place, yet it was still strange. You just assume that if you are in certain parts of UBC, that you are going to see certain people, but Vanier and nearly everywhere else, was completely dead. It didn't feel like we had been away for nearly 4 months, but there were still obvious changes...
We're curious as to whether Kiloh will open the big grass field this year. It looked as if it had just been mowed... perhaps for presentation on opening day? But, the awesome construction fences still surround it. Hmmm, hmmmm.
Hahaha your entry just made me totally excited for UBC. Like this weird little jolt of excitement. It was cool!
I'm nervous about getting my books. I wish I could go to the bookstore right now. I figure most of the second hand books I need will be gone by the time I get there (the 28th). We'll see what I can pick up, though!
Yeah, I don't know about the used book situation. You can also give the Discount Bookstore, which is in the Village (right on University Boulevard as you drive into UBC from 10th Avenue) above the Student Lucky Market (you'll see signs!!), a try. They'll have used books left.
OH. I forgot to say do you have the Psych study guide? cause last year it was cheaper to buy the package new then both used because they wanted to give you a deal. the study guide = god. anyways.
Thanks for the info that the study guide = god!! :) And yes, we both got a copy of the study guide and the text for a BARGAIN price. We were pretty pleased because they aren't that beaten up!
