This IS a spin-off of the vocaloid song Prisoner. I love Vocaloid! I actually came upon the idea while listening to the song on my mp3 player and imagining that video playing out- except replacing Len with Alfred, Rin with Arthur, and the evil camp soilder with Russia. lol I hope you guys like this fanfic! I'm really looking forward to writing it!

Though I must say it makes me wonder about what gives the impression of Russia being so cruel/hostile.. is it Stalin? is it the tsars like Ivan the terrible? is it our culture in general? *troubled face*

Oh nonono! I hope I didn't come across as hating Russia! lol I love your country! I just love dark and angsty stories....I don't know if you want to continue reading this cause it gets pretty dark.....I'm just messed up like that...^_^;

I guess I write Ivan this way from his broken down/insane side reflecting on Ivan the Terrible and Stalin mixed....but all in all, I usually write Ivan as a teddy bear personality! XDD

Ah, no, of course it didn't come across like that, cause, you know, I enjoyed reading it too ^^; XD
It's totally OK, cause, you know, it's not like we never had a tsar.. who threw kittens from off a rooftop.. argh >_< terrible indeed. But Ivan the Terrible wasn't terrible until his beloved wife Sofia died. Ooh that's a good idea for a fic! But so sad T_T
I'm just always curious about what kinda impression Ivan gives cause he's often really missunderstood ^^;
