Laura- the time difference is 9 hours from the midwest, 8 from new york (i'm on moscow time here). Also, i suggest trying cloves for you then. They're stronger, but they taste really sweet. I hear people either LOVE them or hate them, and I absolutely LOVE them to pieces

I was always that way with Spanish - understanding what I was hearing more than I could say.

We need to get some of those kinds of trips in over in America! Drunk in the middle of the day for "education"... geesch =P

How did trying to teach the person how to count go? Which reminds me! Did you ever find some childrens books or something in English to bring over for the kids? I still say Muzzy would have been awesome....
