Today, something fantastic happened.  I struggled in ENG 105 going between 6/10's and 10/10's on my quizes.  So what did I do?  I studied my ass off and broke the chain.  Is that really that bad ass?  Maybe not, but every once in a while it's good to recognize that hard work really does pay off

Bravo! I'm so sick of people looking for work who are casually (read: scuzzilly) dressed without resumes or doing any research whatsoever... Rissie, you're an inspiration!

While being a career student does have its perks, the hours are insane and the pay is utter shit. The workplace for students is also skewed heavily towards young up-and-comers, and less towards established professionals. (course, guess you could do the teaching thing and compromise!!! hee hee.)
