I pretty much want to systematically destroy most western media right now.

I really fucking hate the media in the US in general. They're so busy competing for ratings, they don't really give a crap about reporting what people should/need to know.

The media is so terrible. It's all about sensationalism instead of distributing good information. Random example from today: my sister-in-law is freaking out about her son getting his tonsils out because she's "read several articles recently where kids died during that operation". The media always seems to rush to talk about the most extreme examples in any situation, and very few people stop to actual read the content of articles so they're stuck with whatever crap they shove into a headline.

ARGH that is shit. Guess there's no money in people living long, healthy lives. I really hope those of you actually there with, y'know, a clue what's going on will at least have an easy time getting that across to all the sobbing mothers.
