why are we afraid to show vulnerability?

on a completely different note, my cellphone flew away and i was wondering if anyone had an old *verizon cellphone lying around that they would be willing to sell :)

perhaps it is because we are afraid to be seen as weak. because its always the weak that are killed off first.
the weak are the ones that don't run as fast, and so the predator eats them. the weak are the ones who crack under pressure and can't hold up their end of things.

or perhaps we all simply want to be the best. to beat out the competition. and to that we must appear as we are always in control and as if we never elt our guard down. because it protects us from others.

perhaps its because if we show vunerability, we fera someone will take advantage of that and exploit it. taking us down, while pushing themselves upward.

and, i don't know about the cell phone. i might. i'll look in the morning and get back to you.
