I've celebrated Canada day by shaving my legs!

Something I haven't done for the past three days. Ew, skanky!

The blood running down my right leg is red. The small dab of toilet paper, which I stuck to the razor-related injury, is white. I'm so patriotic. I'd glue a Maple leaf to my shirt, but I haven't seen a Maple tree since I've been here.

My outrageous plans for the day of all days that shall be remembered for at least a week or two reotord July 1 2005, 21:22:37 UTC
The sasquatch is a hallowed Canadian icon! By shaving your legs on Canada day you have brought deep offense to our national insecurity! FOR SHAME!

The maple tree really only has significance in 'central' (ie, middle eastern) Canada, as far as I can tell. i think there's some maple trees in Vancouver...

I was gonna do something like eat a shitload of tim horton's in an awe inspiring moment of donut-nationalism...but then I remembered that they were bought out by the Americans and all the donuts are now freeze-dried in Toronto and shipped across the country. Is there no commercial product left in which to stake our national identity?! Maybe i'll just scorf some poutine...but the stuff out here sucks compared to Quebec. Oh yeah, and apparently they don't have butter tarts down south. Maybe i'll eat some of those.
