I've had a really great weekend. Barry and I finally got some much needed US time, where we just horsed around and had a blast. The weather is finally tolerable! We took a walk through the woods down by the river and saw a whole bunch of cool crap.

HAHAHA I totally freaked when I saw that shit in the tree. My husband's all like "Oh it's just a weasel trap or something." I'm all like "umm it's still frozen?" I have to confess: As gross as it was, I had the urge to touch it. Just to see what would happen (other than getting sticky sink finger, of course).

As for the meat in the tree, that's a Canadian thing. Why, I can remember all the times me and my par went out in them thar woods and hung up a piece of meat before the thaw, just so we could come back in the spring and see if it was still there. It meant something in those days. Bonded us together. But now, cause of all the frickin bylaws you can't just go staple meat to trees anymore. It's a shame what's happening to this planet...

Looks nice out there. Lots of nature. Western cities look like shit in the spring.
