I'm guilty of watching American politics like they're a reality television show that gets extra entertaining every four years or so. I know, in theory (and in the last five years or so especially, in reality) that US Politics has a huge affect on Canada. Yeah, I don't know either and I live here. And studied politics.

I don't want to be one of those people that goes "FUCK THIS I'M MOVING AWAY" but honestly, the issues that are being bandied about right now are so intensely personal to me that if the worst does happen and some of that shit does get pushed through (AKA, Romney wins and gets to choose the next 1-2 supreme court judges) then yes, I will absolutely move. My family's from Newfoundland and I've always wanted to move back up there. But to do that I'd need money, and a job up there, and like a million other things so here is where I'll stay for now, haha.

But seriously, it's super scary. Especially as a bisexual broke lady. Who is sexually active. And cannot afford health insurance.

The thing is, I've said for YEARS that I wanted to move to the US. And I meant it. And there are still things (mainly people) that make that appealing.

But, uhh... your country kind of scares me right now.
