Technically, Taiwan is on the other side of that firewall, so it's something the local ISP is doing to be helpful/a jerk, not a giant anti-me conspiracy. Unless China has just invaded or something!

I probably just need patience, or failing that a guru. Um, hrm. If I completely fall off the world, maybe let synsama@gmail.com know that it's Internet stuff? The best way to tell if I've fallen off the world is if books.hitherby.com updates in a couple of hours and then never again.

This shouldn't be a thing, though. I just figure. . . it is probably a network THING, like, someone is blocking something somewhere and I get around it like X, or possibly I need to do something specific with my router. Or not! I dunno!
