dad's surgery

Dad got his surgery today.

i skipped the first half of school and went with him.  then i went to see him in ICU after work.  He'll be in the hispital for like 10 days or some shit.  He has 4 IV's right now and a cath and a tube that pumps his stomach and a trachea and all kinds of crazy stuff.  He can't talk at all; we got him a white board to

so what exactly did they do? did they take out the vocal cords or just part of it or what?

they took out half of it so he will be able to talk eventually (hopefully) But you should go see him room 423.
