Pretty Tat-chan
“Pi!!!” Jin was still outside the house; Yamapi can hear the car engine stopped and also Jin’s voice screaming out his name. He watched the front door, ready to see a jumping and running Jin came through it. And he was right. Jin showed up a few seconds later, running excitedly and grabbed Tat-chan who was playing with a ball with Ryo-chan on his way towards Yamapi while waving a piece of blue paper in hand. Tat-chan meowed in shock, kicking and screaming in Jin’s grip with Ryo-chan followed from behind.
“Pi, Pi, look!” Jin was still excited as ever, throwing himself on the couch next to Yamapi while still holding Tat-chan with his both hands. Yamapi raised his eyebrow but took the paper Jin gave him nevertheless and read it.
“Careful with that. That’s the last form available. I had to beg from one of the female crew for it”
“A contest application form?”
Jin nodded excitedly, eyes beaming with joy and Yamapi gulped. Having an overly excited Jin wasn’t a good thing. He usually had something ridiculous in his mind when he had this look on his face.
“Wait a minute! Before you said what’s in your mind to me, take this paper back. Please spare me from any of your--”
“Let’s participate!! Four of us!! Right Tat-chan~” Jin smiling widely while playing with Tat-chan. He lifted Tat-chan high up, giggling and rubbed his face on Tat-chan’s body.
“Ahahah Jin-sama. It tickles. Stop. Hahah” Tat-chan meowed while trying to touch Jin’s face with his front legs.
“You, me, Tat-chan, Ryo-chan. Let’s join that The Most Beautiful Cat contest!”
“God! I told you not to tell me!” Yamapi palmed his face in frustration and groaned. He turned to look at his side. Jin was now on the floor, laying flatly on his back with both Ryo-chan and Tat-chan on him. Tat-chan looked like he was having fun playing with Jin constantly teased and poked Tat-chan. While Ryo-chan on the other hand looked a bit pissed off, standing up in front of Tat-chan and trying to block Jin’s view every time Jin reached out to touch Tat-chan. Yamapi smiled. It was rare to see this view with their busy and hectic schedule of work. Jin loved to play with their cats the most.
“So, what do you think? Let’s submit our name, shall we?” Jin glanced at Yamapi while covered up his face from being scratch by Ryo-chan. He chuckled when Tat-chan suddenly jumped on top of Ryo-chan. They both fell to the floor. Jin sat up and laughed.
“Don’t disturb me and Jin-sama!” Tat-chan growled at Ryo-chan.
“He’s attacking you! I’m just trying to protect you!”
“He’s not! We’re playing! You idiot!”
“Who are you calling idiot? I’m not an idiot!”
“I want to play with Jin-sama. If you don’t want to play, go away!”
“Why are you saying this? You should thank me for saving you, stupid hime!”
“Ryo-chan big idiot!!” Tat-chan yelled angrily and turned around, jumping onto Jin’s lap and sat on it. He looked at Ryo-chan and stick his tongue out when Ryo-chan glared at him.
“Tat-chan, we’re going to enter a contest~” Jin said while patting Tat-chan’s head. Tat-chan purred, closed his eyes while enjoying the gentle touch of Jin on his body. Ryo-chan gritted his teeth in annoyance.
“Spoil hime!”
“But Jin, this is a contest just for a cat”
“Yeah, I know. But we’re the owners. It stated there that the owner is automatically participated if the cat is participating”
“I’m not going to enter any contest”
“But what about Ryo-chan?” Jin whined, looking up to look at Yamapi with almost teary eyes.
“What about Ryo-chan?”
“Ryo-chan can’t enter the contest if you don’t enter it too”
“Jin-sama, I didn’t say anything about entering any contest” Ryo-chan muttered lowly.
“But you’re going to participate right?” Yamapi narrowed his eyes.
“Yeah, but with Tat-chan. An owner can only participate with one cat only. I can’t enter the contest with both Tat-chan and Ryo-chan” Jin pouted.
“Then just enter it with Tat-chan. Leave Ryo-chan alone” Yamapi stood up.
“Pi~”
“I’m not going to enter this Jin. But don’t worry, we’ll support you and Tat-chan. Right Ryo-chan?”
Ryo-chan meowed in relpy. “Yes, don’t enter it Pi-sama. Just let them both join the contest”
“Awwwww poor Ryo-chan. You won’t be able to get the prize then. Never mind. Let’s start our grooming session Tat-chan. Let’s show to the world how much beautiful you are. We’re going to win this, I knew it. I have faith in you, Tat-chan~” Jin stood up too, took Tat-chan from the floor and he twirled, laughing and giggling while he didn’t stop kissing Tat-chan on the face and head. Yamapi smiled while Ryo-chan stared in confusion.
“Now, let me take a bath first. After that, we will go out to submit our form” Jin put Tat-chan back on the floor, walked towards his room while dragging Yamapi with him.
“What does Jin-sama mean? What is showing to the world?”
“Eh? You didn’t know? Haven’t you watched one of these before?”
“No, I haven’t” Ryo-chan shook his head. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve watched the cat contests a lot on TV, from many places in the world. We are able to see all the beautiful cats from all over the world in that contest. I always admire those cats. I wish I can become like them one day; appear on TV, let the world looks at how beautiful I am~ Ahh, I can’t wait” Tat-chan said dreamily, imagining how it felt to be on stage and appeared on TV like those cats he had watched before.
Ryo-chan stared, blinked his eyes confusedly before something hit him to realization.
“You mean, we’re not the only one who is going to watch you?”
Tat-chan glared. “Are you stupid? Of course not! They have professional judges; everyone is going to be there, the cat lovers. Then they will choose the most beautiful cat as a winner” Tat-chan smiled smugly.
“Then, you’re not going to enter it!” Ryo-chan suddenly yelled. Tat-chan twitched.
“What?!”
“I said you can’t enter the contest! I don’t care about all those TV things, publicity or whatsoever! You’re not going to participate!” Ryo-chan looked around the living room and spotted the application form on the couch. He quickly ran and jumped onto the couch before he bit the paper with his teeth.
“Ryo-chan, what are you doing?”
“I’m going to rip this paper!” and Ryo-chan did exactly what he said. He tore the paper apart with his sharp teeth while holding it with his legs.
“NO!! Ryo-chan, you idiot! Jin-sama said that was the last form!” Tat-chan cried but it was already too late, the paper already torn into little pieces.
“RYO-CHAN!!! I HATE YOU!! NOW HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ENTER THE CONTEST??!” but Ryo-chan only replied with a smirk, jumping down the couch and continued to play with the ball he played with Tat-chan earlier.
Upon hearing the loud growl coming from Tat-chan, both Jin and Yamapi hurriedly came to see what was happening to their cats before Jin also let out a loud cry.
“THE PAPER!! OH MY GOD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! NO!! MY PRIZE!!”
