Sean caught sight of Jamie's familiar figure from a window.
"Jamie," he breathed, going weak-kneed with relief. So he had survived the black out. Sean had been worried, especially considering Jamie's previous injuries. Before he knew it he was charging down the stairs and across the yard to meet him.
Jamie was juggling the ball from foot to foot, caught it wrong and it flew in the opposite direction. He looked in the direction it went, his face breaking into an unwilling grin.
"Jamie, you're alright!" Sean pulled himself back just short of tackling Jamie with a hug. He coughed, trying to not seem quite so foolishly happy to see him. "I mean, are you alright?"
