Sean was miserable. It seemed to radiate from him and any day now he fully expected Kenny to kick him out of the room for bringing the tone of the place down.
Kenny said this was just like the other times when Sean had panicked, but it clearly wasn't. Jamie had never ignored him like this. He even stopped caring that the whole school knew about him, because how could it even matter now? Jamie wanted nothing more to do with him.
He glanced at his watch. He was supposed to meet Guiseppe later today and he didn't have any phrases to bring him, so he got up and left the room, headed for the library.

Then he saw Jamie and froze.

He tore off a peice of skin and immediately began bleeding.
He sucked on his finger for a moment, and, when he trusted himself to speak, he said, "Hey Seanie."
