I've been remiss in posting pictures of finished objects lately so here are a few projects finished in April.
Here's about 2 oz of unknown fiber, probably all wool, that I spun once apon a time (about 4 years ago) shortly after I got my first wheel. I finally plied it a couple days ago. I only have the close up because it is the only way to see the color at all. I love the color, I just wish I liked the yarn. The singles was over spun to the point that the kinks didn't come out during plying.
This is about 3.5 oz of rambioullet that I dyed on the stovetop with Jacquard acid dyes. Kelly Green and Saphire /blue if I remember correctly.
Fawkes Socks
The pattern is from Socktopia alias Monkey Toes, inspired by Dumbledore's Phoenix in the Harry Potter book series. The yarn is Online Supersocke 100. The colorway hides the lace, but I still like them well enough. I don't have any solid color sock yarns in my stash right now and I'm not going out to add some when I have enough for at least 4 more pair of varigated.
