I see what you mean about the text though... are you going to retry with a high-res photo? Would a higher resolution result in a better looking final image or just a bigger poster?

Neither, really. The individual dots of the raster are, at minimum, around 5mm anyway. No pixellation results from blowing up a small image, because you're losing detail to the raster in the end. I do plan on buying glossy paper and a large frame to create a nice big print of Pig.
