The "something" in Kay's tummy was a lump of food. She'd eaten a bunch and drunk plenty of water when she shocked herself. Seems her digestive system is taking a while to reboot.
They ran a gazillion tests on her, a bunch of radiology, ultrasound and stuff I've never heard of. A whole group of vets, including their tiny animal guru, decided surgery was the best shot at removing this huge flocculant mass that was bloating her tummy ginormously.
Anyway, she's eating and drinking and pooping and tinkling normally. She's being playful and stealing the hearts of the staff. We get to get her back tomorrow a.m. YAY!

Sounds like you might have a trigger-happy intern on her case. Might be worth a heart-to-heart with the clinician in charge.
