New Tires

I need new tires. Suggestions on brand/type? I know I'll need all-weather ones because I'll probably be driving through all four seasons. Thanks!

Your VW is front wheel drive if I remember correctly... Id say grab (2) snow tires for like 50 a pop to ride out the rest of the winter and in the spring invest in a nice set off all weathers or just some EXTRA nice fair weather tires... Ive done all weathers and snow tires in the winter and tires designed for the snow work so much better in my opinion... All weathers will serve you well but have tradeoffs to provide good driving conditions in both weather types...

I'd like to do that, but considering tire prices I really can't afford to buy more tires than I have to. So four all-weathers is my best bet.
