I buy meat in bulk and freeze it. I keep a ton of dry goods and canned foods and frozen goodies (aka "stoner food".) If I run out of bread I always have flour and yeast and can bake some when I want it. I buy a ton of different cheeses whenever I do make it to the store, and they keep for ages. I get to go see the Dave Brubeck Quartet play tonight! I think there might even still be tickets available if anyone would care to join Bryn, Megan, Aaron, and I at the Radisson tonight for what will undoubtedly be an amazing night of jazz. Dave Brubeck is one of the greats-- I'm really excited that he's still touring!

We stopped in Willits for a little rest break, like ya do. There was a hippy dude out in front of the gas station, and when we got out of the truck he asked Aaron, "Hey, man, can you spare 32 cents?" Aaron reached into his pocket and pulled out all his change-- a quarter, a nickel, and two pennies. Synchronicity?

Yesterday (er, Wednesday- I suppose it's technically Friday now) I posted a gleeful little homage to my good mood.
