Oh my goodness, Jill-san! I can't believe it's you! *glomps back* Yes, this is still the crazy and overly genki Ritz that you knew back in the FY days - though I'd like to think I've toned down a bit since those days. ^_-

How have you been? We haven't talked to each other in ages! Are you still into anime and manga or have you, like me, moved on? How are your kids and husband?

You know, I was just mentioning to Kay-chan (remember her? Ki-chan and my other "Food Chain" friend?) that I was wondering how everyone in the old FY fandom was. Last I heard, Kai Ling has since received her doctorate and is now teaching at an university in Singapore but besides her, I'm afraid I know very little about everyone else. I've really only kept in touch with Ki-chan and Kay-chan.

Anyway, let me know how you're doing! I'm going to add you to my friends list right now so I don't lose track of you! I'm estatic to hear from you again, and I really hope we keep in touch! *big hugs again*

Answers: I am well, but it has taken two years to recover from three surgeries and *ack* cancer. I'm not into anime or manga any more, though my younger daughter is just getting into it, completely independent of my earlier interest. Go figure. The husband is well, the and girls are well, and both in high school. HIGH SCHOOL. I am officially a hag.

Oh! And I'm writing original fiction. Finished one novel in draft form, just beginning second novel, developing a web site WHICH IS VERY HARD. But I'm stubborn and I'm slowly understanding all I need to know (digiphotography, Photoshop, HTML, image maps, rollovers, animation, css, ad nauseum.)I have Rence on my flist, and wmc, and Seimei, and Kai Ling (gyobaku)and Tanzy and...and...lemme think...she used to go by Fuuma on the old LH. She is bobthetrout now. Oh, and Kristi B is idiotparade. And Puu is jokersama. We are slowly falling into one another's orbits again, I guess. Go raid my flist ( ... )

Oh Jill, I'm so glad to hear that you're alright now - especially after those surgeries and *grimace* cancer. *hugs* You are truly a remarkable woman, who is NOT, I repeat, NOT a hag. You're so young at heart that I think I'd sooner become a hag than you. *laugh* So don't worry about it ne ( ... )
