i just randomly stumbled onto your blog trying to find a mushishi community.. well actually i was trying to find jdrama community that has mushishi live action subbed posted on it.. but as you can tell i'm easily side tracked.. anyways i liked you avatar from azumanga.. have you seen dears, the main girl character also like melon bread.

Mushishi is so awesome! I saw the Mushishi live-action movie during the Seattle Film Festival, believe it or not. I've never seen anywhere have it available for download, so good luck.

the community I was looking for was deleted. Veoh has it but it isn't subbed. eventually I'll find it I'm sure. Sometimes I'm lucky and it will show up in the foreign film section at movie rental places. Was it any good?

Do you go to anime convention?

It was pretty good, though they threaded a couple of the stories together for the movie. Special effects were great, but I didn't really like the end.

For conventions, yeah, I go to Sakura-con in Seattle and Otakon in Baltimore.

That's cool. It's definitely more fun when your with someone. I feel kind of like a slacker. I only have 4 anime and they're on VHS with English sub, nearby store was closing and selling them for a dollar. Good ones too, I was psyched - Mononoke Hime, Tenchi Forever, 3x3 eye, and Mystery Play: Illusions. But my walls are really boring plain white. I've been meaning to get wall scrolls.
