I just had a bunch of stress pile up, but some good news is bringing it down a little bit. So let's recap:

thats pretty cheap for a coolant leak. My BF's a shop manager and he just quoted his ex $400-$1000 depending on if the radiator is cracked. You can fuxor your engine driving without coolant.

if it happens again, and you need to cool the engine off while you get it to the car hospital...

turn the heater on full, fan on full and open the windows so it's bearable for you. passenger compartment heater pulls heat from the engine to warm you, so that will in effect siphon off some of the heat.

Yep, I used to do that at times every summer. D: My car has had a crappy cooling system for like ten years. The best thing is that right now my heater doesn't work.
