what the pho

I had to get new license plates for my car, because, in Washington, they make you change them every seven years. My new license plate number is nowhere near as interesting as my previous one. I'm no longer an advertisement for cheap Thai food (299-PHO). Now I am a random set of letters and numbers. Le sigh.

At least now people behind you won't be pulling over due to pangs of hunger!

wow that's a weird rule. i would understand if they had the same plate RE-made so that it was new and nice and visible, but new numbers? that's just lazy in production, busywork-creating in the office.

My license plate number is my ham radio call sign. :3 And it only costs $2 to get them in Texas.

Tom: our mandatory plate replacement age is 10 years.
