My dad turned 60 this last weekend. All of his kids, and most of his grandkids, stayed the weekend with him and mom and threw him a bash down at the performing arts center. Hooray, the birds found our bird feeder (upside-down 2-liter bottle, with a little seed tray attached to the the bottom).

The kitty loves the air traffic we've been getting.

The trip is way long. But this time around, it wasn't so bad on the return. I remembered to bring a pillow, which really helped met get through the overnight flight home. The worst part was that it was cold most of the way, and those crummy tissue-thin blankets do nothing for you ( Read more... )
