Love definitely hurts a whole lot sometimes. You can't give up on it comepletely. Remember when you took me downtown in Chestertown to go shopping? I was so depressed. My boyfriend had dumped me and I thought life was over. You were the only true friend I had then. You made me realize that life was more than just some guy that thought it was cool to play around with my mind. Now it is your turn for the pep talk and return the favor!
Sometimes if you hang onto someone for so long that you loved so dearly it can consume you. They do not allow you to open yourself up to new people or even to yourself. You are a very special person, Nikki. I have never met a girl so open and honest with me. Even Ken said that you are the most straightforward honest friend that he has met of mine.
