Duel the Eleventh
[There's the tinkling of a cat's bell, and Utena's voice, soft. She's singing, tunelessly, in Japanese -- it's instinctual enough that it isn't translated by the journal. It seems to be a nursery rhyme. More than likely it's to the kitten in her lap, which mewls in response. After a while, it stops.]
Hey, uh...say, everyone. Has anyone seen Rangiku-san? She didn't come home last night, which isn't too weird for her, but I looked around in her usual places, and I couldn't find her.
Heh, I'm...just a little worried, I guess. But Rangiku-san's pretty tough, so maybe I shouldn't worry too much, y'know? [A weak laugh.] If anyone bothered her, she'd have 'em running for the hills, I bet.
Say, Himemiya. Are you around?
It's...quiet.
