WHO: Jan Valentine and anyone else! WHAT: The fearsome, cruel, inhumanly sadistic vampire... REOPENS A RAMEN SHOP cue the music from Psycho WHERE: Junkhouse Ramen! WHEN: Today!
[If she's being completely honest, she has no idea why she offered to do this. She hates people, hates helping, and she's really not a huge fan of Jan, either.
Except she's bored out of her mind - and that's hard to do, when your consciousness stretches back at least as far as human history, and maybe a little longer - and something about this new arrival, this Flagg, makes her antsy. She needs something to do.
And who knows? Maybe Jan will prove more interesting than she gave him credit for. Maybe she'll find a new plaything among the customers.
So it's surprising, but perhaps not as much as it could be, that she actually shows up, her boots clicking on cobblestones as she approaches.]
[Jan might learn early to fear the sound of Bridget's high-heeled boots on the pavement coming down the street. At least the sun had set so while she wouldn't be the first customer, Bridget was early enough in the evening not to be the last. And it was dark enough that she was wearing an evening dress that did all the right things for her figure without restricting movement, otherwise she would have had to wear a blanket-sized cloak. As much as Bridget liked to pick on Jan, she really was curious to see if he could make a decent bowl of ramen.]
[Yep. Kasa's here, too. One of the first to arrive. Her eyes are full of mischief. She pauses in the doorway, her eyes sweeping over the establishment, taking in the decor. She doesn't let on, but it's better than she expected from him. She selects a table in a corner. She still says nothing, but her attitude clearly says "I'm ready and waiting. Hit me with your best shot."]
