Wonders will never cease . . . I actually got the grant I applied for so I am going to PERU!! I literally jumped/hopped around the room when I opened the letter. Admittedly I convinced myself it was bad news, before I even opened it. Thin letters do not bode well, but this time a lot of money came in a small envelope. Anyway, after my happy

Methinks perhaps you were the only one who didn't believe you could get the grant. Glad you were proven wrong, though.
And pocky is good. Squid isn't bad either, though I haven't had it dried--might it come in chip form, like apple chips and the like? That would amuse me.
