Esca/Marcus, modern au, Esca is a pissy elf helping out Santa at the Department Store during the Christmas period.

How cute would it be? Esca could work as an elf/Santa's sulky little helper at the Department Store! And Marcus would be shopping with his wee kid (I keep thinking he's got a kid here but you know whatever) and he would not be able to help but laugh at Esca, in his little outfit, jiggling about with a bitchface. And one of these days he wouldn't be able to stop himself and he'd poke the little bell at the back....

Each year, Marcus didn't normally pay much attention to the 'elves' that helped Santa take pictures with all the kids at the toy department. They were normally disinterested teenagers who needed a part-time job or regular employees that happened to get dragged into it who after working there so long, knew how to fake being happy. That was so cute! Awkward!Marcus is always one of my favorite tropes. I definitely loved how Esca was like a disgruntled cat with soft spot for kids. It was brilliant!

This is so cute! Marcus' horrible flirting skills were hilarious and grumpy!Esca and bookworm!Cub were both adorable, each in their own way!

This is wonderful! I love Esca trying to maintain his facade of grumpiness, and Marcus as a father is adorable. Awww, Cub! That's such a cute idea. :)
