Hey, you. I wanted to try and get back to lj at least a little. It has been a while and I've missed it. The above is very time-consuming, but it's fun. Kind of a shame I finally figured out something I would have enjoyed as a career when I'm too old to really pursue it! But I figure if I keep it up, it will be a good thing to do for a little extra cash when I finally retire (assuming I can ever afford to do that!). Hope everything's good with you these days. Nice to "hear your voice."

Hi your own self! I wasn't even sure if you hung around lj much any more. I've been mia for a while--busy, busy, busy. More work at work and the editing gig takes a ton of time. Hardly ever write any more, and I do miss it. You and foundfic were my best inspiration back in the day. Still a die-hard SPN fan and I do Twitter for a quick fix on what's up with the world. Are you still in Indianapolis? Hope everything's good for you these days. Smoosh back atcha!!!!

Yeah. Several times in fact. It's a bit hard to hear everything--which is why ADR is so important, I guess. Anywho, I laughed myself sick. Jared doing plies! Somebody tweeted this am that someone at the Chicago Con this weekend should ask Jensen how the hell he didn't crack up during that scene. I guess he's had a lot of practice!

Hola, Dragons! Where do the months go? I miss you too. Went and read a few recent(ish) entries of yours just to see what you were up to. I'd forgotten how you make me laugh with your slightly skewed but still grounded outlook on the world.

Who knows if I'll hang around or not? It ain't that I don't want to, but the days fill up with all kinds of crap--good and bad--and sometimes you just can't dig out. I plan to try to stick my oar in occasionally, anyway.

Re the second job, I edited a novel set in Melbourne recently. Publisher insists on American spelling but allows regional slang. Had to look up a few things. I should've just asked you. No doubt, you could easily have explained to me what a hoon is!

Raising the wetted finger last week, I also caught a breeze from the Monkeys. My favorite stand-up, and stand up, team.
