[ The last thing Komachi remembers before waking up in unfamiliar surroundings is dozing off in the grass beside the riverside, her boat moored haphazardly nearby. This isn't the afterlife, dear. Though you can make of it whatever you wish.

Besides, as a newly appointed wife and mother, you'll never have to attend work. But be sure you at least take care of your home, take care of your children, and most importantly take care of your husband...especially in the bedroom.

Yeah. People who mope around and want to die like that are real pains.
But I suppose I can see why they'd want to leave this place that way. In any case, I guess it's pointless.
