My husband is playing Master of the Remote tonight, watching 3 movies simultaneously. Ewoks are scampering around the feet of the oliphaunts while Agent J discovers that the One True Ring is hanging from the cat's collar. -

Voting
I survived taking Junior to vote with me. When we got there, a poll observer said there were about 45 people ahead of us and the line didn't shrink at all. On the other hand, the line moved along at a good pace and we knew several people working the polls. Bringing an iPod and unexpected toys for Junior made the wait less painful, too. We saw our first snowflakes this morning. Some schools in the Poconos are closing, and they might get a foot of snow. Yikes! -
Sorry, I'm happy in my warm and dry house
I got a robo-call last night. McCain and Palin are appearing at a nearby high school football stadium this morning. I can still get a free ticket to their 'victory rally' if I show up at the stadium this morning. I'd go for the spectacle, to see what I might have to deal with if they have their way. Chilly!
This morning, the thermometer near the family room window read 58F indoors. The thermometer on the kitchen cabinet said 62F. I think it's time to fire up the wood stove. -
Star Wars, musical edition
After listening to the ukulele cover of the Imperial March on Coverville, I decided to do a search of "Star Wars" on Amazon's MP3 download site. After mentally filtering out the zillions of John Williams versions, there are some interesting items out there.
