It's snowing huge flakes right now and it's so pretty. I won't be watching the ball drop or anything tonight and also it seems we won't have running water for the weekend. Just kidding! Running water yay!

So I read some books this year and as usual, I'm going to tell you what they all were.

Heh. What'd you think of The Golden Compass?
Oh, Purpose Driven Life... how my church did 40 Days of Purpose to death and beyond... good book, though ^_^

My church did it too, but I missed it because I was at school.

Um, I think I liked it, though maybe not enough to continue the series. Though maybe I will sometime, who knows. Do you like it? It wasn't a favorite, but I'm glad to have read it.

Mmm... it's extremely anti-Christian as you go on in the series... I can't remember if that was evident in the first book or not because I read it so long ago, so... I can't say as I do like it. Very well-written, though- I loved the world Pullman created, or most of it, anyway.
