Tuzanor, Minbar shone in sunlight. Every building was carved into the crystalline outcroppings After running the obstacle course, Susan Ivanova sat in one of the parks watching rainbows dance in the waterfall. The building behind her caught rainbows as well.
A throat cleared behind her, “Good morning Susan. Did you enjoy the obstacle course?”
Susan turned her head. “It helped clear my head Deleen.”
“Then the course achieved the purpose for which it was designed. Please join me for breakfast.”

They sat at a table overlooking the Ranger compound. Rainbows danced on the pavement while waterfalls fell into bright pools.
“So why breakfast? I know you have a reason for every one of your actions Deleen.”
Deleen swallowed, “Well, there is an opening in the Rangers.”
“Me as a Ranger. Are you serious?”
“Very. The Minbari need to see more humans in the Rangers. You are a logical choice.” She paused and added, “With your skills and command experience, you’re a natural choice.”
“Leading where Deleen?”
“To becoming the head of the Rangers.”
“You dream large. Are you sure?”
“You come highly recommended.”
Susan sighed. “Ranger training and then I’ll see.”
”Thank you Susan.”
