Kitties!
Yup, we have them! OMG, they are freaking adorable! And so personable.
Here is Mama Tortie - she's such a good mom too. She ran off a raccoon when it threatened her kittens.
After Dave communed with the orange tabby, he told me his name was Sheldon. *snorts* Sheldon is also a proficient mouser - at 8 weeks!
We couldn't get decent pics of the black one outside (too many shadows), but we got a great one after we got home. After much debate (I wanted Severus, but kitten didn't seem to like the name. Oddly, he liked Lucifer!) we present, Winchester (Chester for short). He's ornery and loves to have his belly rubbed.
They both have colds, so we gave them a warm bath (they also had fleas), food and water... and they dropped like a sack of potatoes. They're littermates/brothers, so they are very used to each other and curled around one another. Yin and Yang here.
Today, they are MUCH better after a trip to the vet, meds and all the cuddles they can get.
