um... still procrastinating

here's my quick favorites from my new holga pictures. I haven't corrected these images at all yet, sometimes I change the coloring a little and I always clean up dust, so these are the true origonals before I start cleaning and correcting...

um... behind the cut though, so it won't ruin your friend's lists...

These are very cool. I especially like the hippo and the bug. The dream catcher one is quite beautiful. How close is the size of these to actual? The best thing about that one is how the dream catcher is almost indestinguishable from the trees. Is that how it actually is?

It rocks that you are doing so much with the photography. It is so exciting, and you are coming up with some really cool stuff!

the actual negative sizes are like... four by four inches or so, I think. its medium format so the pictures are always about square. But its cool because I just have the negatives processed and Justin scans them so they are pretty high quality and I can make them whatever size I want. When I've printed them in the past I find about the best size is eight by eight inches... I don't know why, it just seems to work.

Yeah, the dream catcher does sort of blend in in the trees, it was really surreal because its just sort of off manitou avenue and there's this cross and a whole huge pile of things and letters people left and then this dream catcher and all these things tied into the trees. Pretty cool actually. I'm glad you think it is beautiful. I think usually my photos are cool, but not "beautiful" but that one might be.

and thanks for the compliments. I'm super psyched on this stuff so its nice when someone tells me they like what I'm doing.

wow I didn't know that these were film, that's so cool! How'd you get them on the computer?

My favorite (again) is the hippo. I must really have a thing for giant purple pigs.. In that photo he looks like gods sock puppet!

I also like the bug, he's totally frontin'. I can just hear it looking at you and sayin' "what? What? You wanna take it outside?" in a little squeaky voice. hahaha!
