the result on 8 really pissed me off. I can't believe that didn't pass. gay couples can have a kid together but they can't get married. there has to be a massive group of stupid people who actually fell for the "what about the children" crap yes on 8 people put in their ads. on the radio today they were saying that the yes people were going to go to the supreme court to get the thousands of gay couples that had married since June annulled. they had interviewed this one law student who was only 27 or 28 who was against gay marriage. he said the judicial court had stepped over bounds and had ruined tradition or something to that affect and he was glad that it was put to a vote so the people could correct them. I know the idea of actual gay marriage is kind of new and it takes some getting used to for some, just like any new thing. but, fuck, he sounded like some backwards moron. "the earth is the center. everything revolves around us. we don't revolve around the sun!"
