Actually I have! He was part of the pimpfest for it at TIFF so uhm it may have popped up on Google alerts... if I had such things ;-) I'd love to see it but no idea if it'll ever get a release over here. Ah well, there's always DVD. But thanks for the link!
"Neither of them is a stinker." High praise indeed! I thought John Barrowman was a horrendous reader, so I don't think I'll be jumping on the Kai bandwagon. Of course, I am so over Torchwood that I don't think I want to listen anyway.
That being said, I still have the GDL one that I've not yet listened to. I'm just waiting for a long car trip, which will be coming up in a couple of weeks. I guess I'll break it out then.
And why, oh why did he have to come to DragonCon again? Do I want to go or don't I? Is it worth the annoyance of standing in long lines and getting a mediocre seat in the back to hear him mumble into a microphone? Eh, time will tell.
I really enjoyed your reviews! Don't plan on buying them, but the reviews I've seen so far either totally hate them or totally love them, so it was good to see something much more balanced. And I was just wondering...was there ever an incident when GDL acted rudely somewhere? I've seen mentions in some places that something happened, but no one ever goes into detail, and I'm just curious is all.
