Wow.  Nothing like a home crisis to make posting to LJ happen more often than usual.

The cleanup company finished a little after noon.  Most of my townhome's lower level has been stripped to the concrete slab and there are large green fans drying the place out even as I type.  The noise is enough to make me long to go to work.  Feh.  I have to put

I was, and tonight too. Fortunately for me, closing the door to my bedroom reduces the noise so that it just sounds like the air conditioner is running. All the time. I still need to get caught up, though; hopefully over this weekend.

I actually sleep much better with a white noise generator like a fan in the room....

I'm going to have limited ability to help you over the weekend. Crossroads is this weekend, and my neighbor decided to up the timeline on my other fence.

Saturday at this point is set for cleaning up fence stuff, and putting in new posts.
Sunday I have to go to Crossroads.
I want to get some other "post work" done for the front porch this weekend too while I have the auger.

I may have time on Saturday afternoon or Monday to help you out if you need it. Let me know what your plan is, and I'll try to make myself available.

I'm also assuming that we are not gaming on Friday....

It's OK. I don't think I'm actually going to be doing much this weekend for the house. Which means I should be able to help you out in the morning and early afternoon with your fence on Saturday. I have to go sit for a 12 year old at 6:00, but can certainly help during the day before then.

Oddly enough, if I can scrounge the cash, I may try to paint on Sunday and/or Monday. Might as well get the walls done before they come to lay brand new carpet.

As for gaming on Friday ... so long as I can manage a little planning before then, I don't see any reason not to play. I could certainly use the entertainment.
