Just came home from a 10.5 hr shift to the news that my beloved Grandpa is in the hospital. There's really nothing to report now; it's something to do with fluid in his heart. There's some name for the condition but I can't remember; I just know they attempt to treat it through meds and it's not a curable condition ( Read more... ) -

Back in CLT. Con was great and full of fun-times and NCIS as per usual. Going to eat and nap and then come back later with pics and a full report. Let me know if there's anything I must see/read. Hope everyone is doing well!

Time for a long weekend
I work until 10:30 tonight and leave for AZ 2012 in the morning so I'll see you all late Sunday night. Be good and stay safe. If the hotel lobby has wi-fi I might try to drop in on dw/lj/tumblr/e-mail during the down time. (Or to get photos uploaded, b/c I will actually use my camera this year.)

- AZ 2012 is days away. So. Very. Excited. Both for the train trip (which I love) and seeing my girls. I never did finish my crash course for more recent anime/manga, so I'll be just as clueless as last year, but hey, I'm there for the company and pretty, pretty cosplays.
