I just bought Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Light and Shade, so here's my first attempt to use the knowledge it has imparted me:

But why is the cigarette floating?

Oh, and I think a slightly less tight crop on the bottom (just add a centimeter more of black) would look better, the shoes look kinda cut off.

the cigarette isn't floating, she's a lady, thus she uses a cigarette holder!
