Hey, it's been a while!! ^^ I've slept roughly 4 hours in the past 3 days, but other than that things are just peachy! Haha. Are you still going to a bunch of concerts? How's Osaka lately? :D
Oh wow. Thank you so much! Ah~ I feel so guilty for being such a horrible LJ friend now since I so easily phase into inactiveness. ;_; I'll try my best to do better and will check your page often after my finals are over!!
Yumi?! =0 I friended you back without realizing you were YOU (since I never clicked on your journal previously and never read my friend subscriptions due to all the comms)! I totally fail at LJ (and probably life as well). (_ _;;;)
Haha, wow. I didn't even realize I was screening comments from everyone until now. ^^;;; My LJ's a mess at the moment. I have no html and I'm subscribed to so many different communities/people that my friends page is just a blur. (=_=)
...and I totally didn't realize you posted pics on your page! =0 They're so pretty!!
LOL hahaha it's okay~ everyone goes through a LJ noob phase, but soon you'll be so sucked in it's hopeless! :D! (uh Yumi and I can testify to that cough) I'm not that big on customizing my LJ layout though simply because editting your LJ layout is a PAIN... so I just use the pre-made ones! lol! They look a lot nicer and a lot more choices than there once was in LJ. So you decided to show up at the right time! XD
Aw thanks! <3 My page as in my LJ? This LJ has been with me since 2004, and it's always been my art blog hahaha. All my "private" actual life thoughts/events are on another LJ~ *_*
I'm so dense. -_- I've been following your DeviantArt account for quite a while, but when I saw your LiveJournal name among the membership requests for yubinbasya I could only think that it struck me as familiar until I looked in your journal *lame*
But I just wanted to welcome you to the Yubinbasya community, and thank you for joining! ^_^
Umm... also, might it be ok if I friend you? ^-^ I really love your artwork, and I would love seeing sketch-work from you, but I undesrtand if you want to keep your journal more friends-only. I'm sad you feel you're cluttering up your scraps with sketchy stuff, though... I really appreciate it when artists show their unfinished/scrapped work... I think they have a value in themselves that's different, but not less important than finished work... yanno?
I have this "gotta catch them all" complex when it comes to Yubinbasya (at the expense of my wallet), so when I saw your community, I just had to join! XD
Thanks! I'm happy you like my work!! (^0^) I actually wrote this entry and deleted a lot of my sketches during that short phase when DA had just switched to an interface that integrated scraps with completed works. Seeing it side by side like that was somewhat painful and so I came to this decision. ^^;;; However, they've recently switched to another interface that separates the two categories again (possibly due to user feedback?) but I'm too lazy to reupload all that old junk again and so will still stick with this decision. I enjoy seeing others' scraps as well, however I think mine are a bit subpar given that they don't really even look much like my completed works unlike most other artists. ^^; However, sure I'd be happy to add you! ^^
"I have this "gotta catch them all" complex when it comes to YubinbasyaOh man, I know what you mean... but because I'm insanely poor, I fill that obsessive drive in my soul by high resolution Yubinbasya-related scans and scanlations x-x; I'm constantly on the look-out for new uploads by people... because I actually own very few hard-copy doujinshi that I could hold
( ... )
Thanks! Reading your comment is really encouraging. ^^
I don't actually own that many doujinshi either since most stores charge 2-3 times the original price and so I just feel kinda ripped off. If I buy it at something around the original price, then I typically have to import from Japan, and then shipping ends up costing as much as the book. (_ _; ) There's also a lot of circles that I equally admire! However, it's only Yubinbasya doujinshi that I can't help buying more of than just my favorite ones. I definitely rely on scans though to determine which ones to buy since I can't just flip through the book unless I'm at a con. (_ _) I also really have to restrict impulses to purchase more! ^^;;; Maybe it has to do with how Yubinbasya always prints on a variety of interesting paper types for their books? Haha.
