I watched a bit of the republican convention. I couldn't stay tuned to the whole thing because I can only take so much stupid. I came in at three points in Palin's speech and I have three points to make about it ( Read more... )

Hillary running for pres wasn't historic either. She was not the first woman to run for pres. There was another woman back in the 1800's, although she might not have been a democrat.

I don't really know my Russian geography that well, but isn't the area closest to Alaska a no-man's land without a modern city? If so, aren't we technically closer to the "threat" of Russia?

And, more importantly: She's not in Alaska right now! The reds could come marching through at any moment and start redistributing out wealth!
