I like this. A lot. It's building a relationship through friendship first instead of just skipping to OMG!love.

Thanks. I originally set out to help increase the amount of Persona smut in the world. But first the two of them wanted a *backstory*, and then time to develop a *relationship*...so this is where we've ended up!

smut is good too, but it's nice when we get to see the relationship develop instead of assuming it's already there ^_^

I also like how you gave Minato a personality (in most of the fics I read his personality is nonexistant). And it totally portrays how i feel towards the whole social link system, it makes me feel guilty too :-:.

Heh, you are correct. I wanted the story to be authentic to the game world at that point in time, so I threw in all the thoughts I had during early gameplay, Chihiro chief among them. I had her and Yuko both to level 4, then suddenly it's telling me that Chihiro "wouldn't like me seeing other girls." And I'm like "Noooooooo! If I can only have one, I totally want the other girl!"

So the genesis of this story was 1) "grrr, stupid Chihiro, now I'm stuck with her" and 2) "oooh, hey, Minato actually being pissed off for once has yaoi potential!".

It took so freaking long to max out Justice, that only now (November!) am I finally able to level up other girls. It seems you don't have to commit to the other relationships as early as Chihiro's, which is nice.

I don't know if it always works, but I think I worked out a trick to date them all at once...as long as you keep them in rotation, like, i did chihiro on tues and thurs and yuko on wed and sat, they are content. it's like they don't know you're playing them.

personally i would have preferred being able to date guys, but we can't have everything, now can we?

Mmmmmm YES. Been wanting good fic for these two for a while, and you definitely deliver. I have to say, I love when they get a bit playful; it's nice to see that side of them, especially Akihiko.

And OOOH that last line is making me chomp at the bit for the next update!
