yeah, that's one of the best scenes. who am i kidding? they're ALL one of the best scenes.

I maintain that the brilliance of the film is in the bizarre secondary dialogue. My roommate insists it could have been boiled down into the funniest half-hour of television ever, but the uncomfortable silences and the "empty" parts where the director seems to be saying "What the hell is going on?" are what make it amazing.

actually i maintain the brilliance was the AMAZING COSTUMES. and also the amazing random drawings of things. like you could sell those at deitch for mad loot.
