Caught a glimpse of a fire cresting a hill north of the 210, around Riverside Ave. Still a fair bit from me, but still scary to see. KFWB claimed that all three of the fires near me were contained, and it appears true for the closest one, the Sierra fire. (One freeway exit to the East.) YEah, that's crazy. I've been listening to KFWB as well during my drive to work. This is getting nuts. My allergies are flairing up too. Glad you're safe, and glad your friends are safe.:D

So far we're safe. There's apparently a fire not far to the west of my house, but I can't find any information about it.

Also, looks like there's a new fire at I-15/Sierra.

KFWB has had the best coverage on the radio, but that's not saying much. :-/
