So I had an interview this morning and I've got to say that I desperately want this job. It's 8:45 - 5pm daily. I get almost 3 weeks paid vacation EVERY YEAR!! Full benefits (and I need that vision so I can get new glasses). Went to church again this morning and feel like I've found a permanent worship home here. I didn't really go to church in Pittsburgh and I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that I didn't think I'd be around long enough to really make it a home... and that just when it started to get there I'd be leaving. A lot of you know already that I've started looking for call center jobs again. I'm working with a placement agency who I'm meeting with Thursday. The agency I'm working with has some of the nicest paying jobs that I've found for call center work in the area, so I'm really hoping that I can find something that's well suited for me ( Read more... )

Well, the place that wanted me to call back today still doesn't have their deal finalized so asked me to call back early next week. My only other real prospects are for the 23rd and a few people asking for work in January. I've decided that I'm going to take a full time (or at least part time) job. Christian and I moved into our apartment yesterday and not a moment too soon!!  That morning the cops broke down the door of the hotel room next door to us!!!  It was a bit crazy!  Apparently the poor girl had commited suicide.... she was still breathing when they took her away, but it didn't look very good.  It felt good to get out of that hotel!!
