Might you tell me more about how this community works/is going to work? I've not RPed before. I would appreciate it if you outlined the procedure and the benefits of having a seperate RP journal from your normal one...please?

I have an inclination to want to play Kenshin from the beginning Tokyo arc of the Rurouni Kenshin manga. A new guy just moved to town looking for a job in his preferred field: Manager and publicity agent for rising stars or bands. He has to carefully avoid any contact with the Yakuza, however, lest they recognize who he used to be. The assassin Battousai. Do you think it would work?

But like I said, I don't really know what's going on or if I have the dedication to keep up with posting...so please drop me a line.

Seperate journals from your personal one are created for your character to post in and interact with other characters through livejournal - its like their own personal livejournal.

The way this community works is: You apply and once you have been accepted you create a character journal. You head over to this entry and add all the communities and other players to your friends list and introduce yourself over at rizumikaru_ooc. After this you are free to start playing ( ... )

Okay, I guess my main question would be...is there like a Supreme Mod? Like the equivalent of a Dungeon Master in D&D? For instance a character's boss, would I make up the character of my boss and his agenda as well as long as I kept it in my character's POV? Or is there a coordinator to handle those things???

Also...are there time limits? I had other questions but I can't think of them right now...the personal character's RPing journal, do you mean that that journal would be exclusively for posts and conversations to do with the RP or that you would have conversations in character?

I hadn't taken the law into account so I'd have to change my plans. Maybe give him a day job as a lawyer. Possibilities for pulling strings there. Or change my character - L from Death Note and be the anti-hero or villan trying to catch the other characters, Kantarou from Tactics would be fun. Or I might just play a female character because of the sheer fact that you don't seem to have many.

I hadn't thought about

Also as far as abilities etc. go - do all capabilities need to be moderated to the standards of this world? In other words erasing all - or almost all - extraordinary, especially supernatural, powers? Like would extreme sword ability be okay? or slight psychic powers having to do with electrical waves? I'm thinking demons and Read or Die capabilities are definitely out of the question. What about androids?

In Yakuza or Police what are standard weapons? Guns? Shock weapons? 'Discipline' rods? Swords? What are we working with? What are the materials at my disposal?

Hi, I'm really interested in this community and I'm hoping to apply soon as C.C. from Code Geass, but they said to contact a mod about any special characters first ( ... )

Gah, C.C, why must you be such a pain XD;

She would possibly be able to hold onto being able to pass memories to other people, though this would have to be toned down and made to fit into the rp universe. Other than that, Geass would, sadly, be unusable. With the astral projection, if you can fit that into the rp, feel free to keep it as well.

As for immortality - well, she would have to become human I'm afraid.

Anymore questions, feel free to ask. That's what we're here for ^_^

(Hahahaha, I actually thought you guys wouldn't know her. XD All the better!)

Awwww no immortality or Geass... Sadness. *sniff* Ah, well, she'll just be a fun character. I'll have to severely modify her application so it'll fit, buuuuut I think I can work around those. ^^;

P.S. Would I keep the Geass symbol on her forehead?

Hi, I was just wondering if it's alright if Subaru can keep his ability to see Spirits?

It's just that in the anime/manga he's an exorcist and even though he can't really exorcise spirits anymore, it would be fun to have his other ability ^^;

But if not it's still alright ^^

Seeing spirits isn't anything too insane and people claim to be able to do it in this world so I don't see why not.

Hm, I was wondering, since Hanatarou has a knack for healing, could he still keep that without all of the shinigami powers? xD Like, being a good doctor that people are comfortable around? But he's only a kid in this RP, so, I was wondering if that was okay... And he's not a doctor or anything, just a student volunteer. :]

That would work fine. Yep.

I'm currently in the process of filling out the application for Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia, and I've got a couple of questions.

1) In canon, Sheena's a summoner. So I was wondering if she could have psychic abilities in the RP?

2) I know this takes place in Japan, but it would it be possible for the city to have a stable (even if it's just a small one)? I'd like Sheena to work at a one, since it's something I feel that I can portray without awkwardness.

As long as the psychic abilities aren't too extraordinary then that's okay, yes.

And of course the city could have a stable!
