Ditto. Of course, it's been 15 years since I was there (and I had a least a smattering of Slavic languages under my belt at the time), but I have very fond memories.
One big question: do you see this as a one-time life experience being an ex-pat, or is this an investment in setting down additional roots throughout the world to be visited throughout your life? It sounds like the latter, which I think is pretty dang cool.
Having said that, the reasons you list seem to lean towards Barcelona. Do you have a timeline for potentially expanding your Aussie biz? Would three months in Spain followed by three months in Hong Kong be spreading the experience too thin?
what happened to Dubai? Also a Dublin winter sounds just as bad as a Stockholm one. But i'd follow you there. There would just be a good chance you'd break up with me in a Stockholm winter.
