i have that same problem. except sometimes when i'm riding one of my tires wont touch the pavement and some other times my whole body will touch the pavement.
anyhow fixed gear bikes are hardcore. that's why bike messengers use them (that and they are cheaper). i think you will probably like the drop bars (rams horns), because on longer rides you have more places to put your hands when they get sore (after about 20 mins). make sure to keep your wrists straight so you don't develop RSI problems and if your ass starts to hurt don't be afraid to get off the saddle more. standing while pedaling is good for a few other things besides ass comfort too.
What are you doing up, man?rjhudsonSeptember 27 2006, 07:56:28 UTC
Naw, The Bike Kitchen must be across the bridge. Properly speaking, we're not in San Francisco. We're in the East Bay Area, I guess. Cindy, after picking the bike up, actually missed an exit and wound up over the bay, in the city. An hour and a half, gone forever
